Storyboarding for a Feature Film | The Director's Logbook

Running, Spring-Cleaning and Storyboarding

I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed recently so today I went for a lovely run in the sun to lift my spirits a little.

The house was a mess and I find it much harder to work when nothing around me is in order, so I decided to spend the day cleaning.

It's such a great feeling when you take time to clean and the house smells nice, with lots of space and tidy rooms. It's almost like cleaning things physically tidies up the mess in my head.

The clean house allowed me the inspiration to work on my storyboards in the evening. It's slow moving but it was good to move onto another scene. A little bit at a time and it's slowly coming together.

Watch my day in the video below!

The Director's Logbook is a channel I set up to give advice to beginner filmmakers and to encourage anyone to pick up a camera and make a film. It's also somewhere where I share my projects and behind the scenes videos, give writing prompts and other bits and bobs.
