August Favourites | The Director's Logbook

August has come and gone like highly-strung terrier! We've been so busy it feels like I barely noticed the time flying. So here we are, at the start of another Autumn and as a wistful farewell to summer here are a few things I've been loving this August.

I am excited to be collaborating with Hannah from Surviving Medicine and Laveena from Fashion Frenesia who are also sharing their August Favourites in their blogs today so please do go and check them out:

A few of my favourite things...

This black sweatshirt that I picked up for £5.99 in H&M. I love the simplicity of it together with the detail on the sleeves.

My flower patterned notebook Kevin gave me as a birthday present. It's slowly getting filled up with new scripts and dialogue ideas.

The Urban Decay Naked Palette. I'm not someone who has a lot of makeup and I only invest in my favourite foundation and blush. This was my first expensive set of eyeshadows and the more I use it the more I love it.

My favourite two shades to use together at the moment are 'Liar' and 'Factory.'

'Lovely' by Sarah Jessica Parker. I discovered this scent when I was in my early 20s and it has been my favourite ever since.

I have tried to 'grow up' and get a more 'womanly' scent but this is the one I always return to...and the only scent people compliment me on when wearing!
